In a testament of resilience and unwavering determination, Isaac emerged triumphant from a life-altering car crash at the tender age of 22—a harrowing experience that left him with an 80% brain disability. Turning adversity into a transformative pact, he forged a remarkable agreement with the CEO of the Universe: he pledged to donate a staggering 80 units of blood upon his recovery. This commitment, though daunting, underscored his unyielding spirit.

A single blood donation may seem ordinary, but with each donation of 450ml, there's a mandated interlude of fifty-six days, or eight weeks, before the next. At a maximum of six donations annually, the journey spanned thirteen arduous years, exacerbated by times of illness and geographic shifts across London, Cape Town, and Kuala Lumpur. Yet, in a testament to his integrity, Isaac fulfilled his vow after eighteen years of determination.

Restored to health by the cosmic hand of destiny, Isaac's trajectory continued to ascend. Within seven years of his car crash, he embarked on a journey of knowledge acquisition, earning a postgraduate degree in Finance. For the subsequent fifteen years, he carved an indelible mark in the realms of Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, Insurance, and Wealth Management. An illustrious Certificated Banker, Certified Financial Planner®, and Certified Director of the Institute of Directors, his expertise enriched global financial giants such as Barclays Investment Bank in London, First National Bank in Johannesburg, and Sanlam Life in Cape Town.

He has served on the Board of US-founded Rise Against Hunger as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Risk Committee. Additionally, he served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the South African chapter of the Canadian-founded Enablis Financial Corporation.

Isaac was bestowed with the coveted "Runner-up Young Banker of the Year" award by The Institute of Bankers in 2005, and in 2006, he was honored with the accolade of "Best Performer of the Year" by insurance giant, Momentum. In 2014, he was a finalist in the Financial Planning Institute's Financial Planner of the Year campaign.
